Do you have those moments in your life you think back on constantly? You analyze them, but no matter how much you think, the outcome is always the same. They haunt you. Creep up on you when you least expect it. One second you’re on top of the world. The next, something triggers a memory. A memory triggers a feeling. Guilt, sadness, anger. And you’re in the present, but your mind is in the past. You’re alone. Just like you were then. You can see the disappointment on their faces. And as much a you hope that it’ll all get better, you know that once again, you’ve failed. Because in the end, you always do.
